A precious Gift from God :)

It is rare that I will blog, especially when i am in the midst of crazy project deadlines that are due WEEKLY! However, this is one blog post that I want to remember for the rest of my life, because it is very special and precious to me.

As the title states, it is a precious gift from our Father :) On Saturday, 27 Feb 2010, on the 2nd night of the Holy Spritual Meeting, God decides to accept me as His child :) I did not know what happened, I thought that I was only touched by the Spirit. I did not know that I was filled instead! I asked Auntie Lois, and she said I was filled! Praise God!

On the 2nd night of Holy Spritual Meeting, we had 3 rounds of praying for the Holy Spirit. It is a feast that God decides to pour His Spirit upon His believers, as it was the End times Spring rain.

During the 1st round, I was praying and shouting as usual, but my mind kept floating around and not concentrating. Elders and Deacons have already told us to empty our hearts, and just concentrate on praying, and shouting 'HALLELUJAH!' Our thoughts , minds and hearts can only think and pray to God to fill our hearts with the Holy Spirit! I started to rock front and back when praying, I couldnt stop myself! After like 1o mins of praying, we stopped to rest for a while.

The next round of praying started, and I tried to shut all the worldly thoughts and worries I have. I started to rock front and back again... Just concentrate on praying, I told myself. I thought of the sermon that Deacon Mark has spoken earlier, where we need the oil to give out lamp.

In the Old Testament, there was this lady who did not have any money to pay her rent, and she only had a little oil with her. The angels told her to collect as many containers as possible, asked her to borrow from her neighbours. Then, the miracle started.. The woman poured her oil into the containers she has, and the oil kept flowing! It filled the empty containers, ALL of them until none was left. This story kept me interested, and we are like the containers. We HAVE to empty our hearts, to be like the empty containers for God's Spirit to flow into us. If we still have thoughts and worries, how can God fill our hearts then?

So, i started to pray, trying to empty my heart and only concentrate on praying. However, I was too tired, and thus the praying came to a stop. When I opened my eyes, I saw that Sister Diana was crying, and auntie Lois was hugging her. We felt happy for her, as she was filled with the Spirit, one week before her wedding! It means to us that God accepted her, and blessed her with the most precious gift!
I went over to the kitchen after a while, to pour drinks to moisten my throat. On my way there, I met Auntie Lois again, and she told me, 'You are almost there! Its just that you are too tired.. Try again! Keep it up!' This sentence woke me up and I have decided to give all my strength and energy to push for the last round of praying.

At last, during the last round of prayer, when I started praying, my body again, rocked front and back uncontrollably. I began to think of nothing, except to pray for God to fill my heart with His Holy Spirit. I was shouting on top of my lungs and my voice went very high pitch! I couldnt do that given a normal situation! My voice became very strong, and I used all my strength to pray and pray. My body was sweating all over in an air con room, and apparently the air con was not working very well.. Suddenly, I started to cry, slowly, and after the first tear drop, my tears started to flow down like a fountain and I just want to praise MORE and MORE! It was crying out of pure joy, and I couldnt stop crying. Deacons were laying hands on top of my head, checking whether the Spirit is the right one or not.. I just rocked front and back, and was crying very hard all the way.
Then the bell ring for us to stop praying, but I just could not stop! I could hear Auntie Lois saying 'Amen' to me, for me to know it was time to stop. I was crying very terribly - according to my sister who was in front of me, and I couldnt stop crying for about 2 mins. Then, I began to stop and someone passed my tissue. Kristab was beside me, hugging me.

I was amazed how hard I cried, and how I couldnt stop my crying. I thank and praise God for choosing me and descending His Holy Spirit upon me! This means that with the Holy Spirit inside me, I will have God with me at all times! God will always be guiding me to make the right decision and it is a very precious and wonderful gift God bestowed on me.

I went for Holy Spiritual Meeting on the 3rd and last night, and again, I told myself to empty my heart and mind and concentrate fully on Him. The 1st and 2nd round was not too good, as I was tired cos I went there straight from work. But on the 3rd round, God touched me again, and I cried again, but not too long. Haha :)

I thank God for blessing me because I dont deserve it. Thank God and HALLELUJAH! May Glory be given unto Jesus! Amen!

Hi peeps! I am back to blog! :)

Currently, I am like a tai tai, doing almost nothing at home.. haha, cos school term started for about 3 weeks already! Time pass by very fast and soon i will be buried with projects again :(

Worked for Uncle Jeff for about 2 months right after my exams, and my real holiday starts on 1st Jan 2010. I am still working on my 21st birthday post, haha! I know, it's been eons ago! :P

So, here i am to share what i did ytd..

I made mango pudding!!! :D

Bought the mango pudding powder from Muji a week ago, and since i have the time to spare, so, why not? :)

Mango pudding powder-like mixture

You will need a mixer

Measure 300ml of water and boil it.. let it cool and pour both the mixture and water into the mixing bowl.

Cute moulds I cant resist to buy! :)

You will have to need milk..

Mix it !!

Measure 100ml of milk and milk with the mixture previously!

Mix it for about 1 min, and let it cool..
Next, pour the liquid pudding into the moulds.

Looks like egg tarts?

Put it into the fridge for about 2hrs plus! :)

The mess you have to deal with after all is done..

After 2hrs plus, excitedly remove the mould and this is it!

The penguins are damn cute!!! :)

Mission accomplished! :)

Hihi, back with the birthday wish list!

I REALLY appreciate all of you, turning up for my party, and the MOST IMPORTANT THING is for ALL OF YOU TO HAVE FUN! (Up to date: about 80+ people are turning up! Isnt that great?)

Birthdays are all about fun and laughter and getting older right? :)

And also, my theme for the party is Retro, Rock n Roll, so i will be playing groovy music to spice up the ambience.. & i have a small request after cake cutting session, so all of you, DONT RUSH HOME STRAIGHT AFTER I CUT MY CAKE YA?! :)

I admire his voice and his performance on stage, because he doesnt seem to be scared and is very calm while singing! You all should really go watch his videos online during his competition! Anyone knows how to rip songs from youtube? I want to rip his songs and put into my mp3..

Really enjoyed myself there! Although the results were abit OBVIOUS. But i get to hear Lala, Jam Hsiao, Liang Wen Ying, Olivia, May day and SHE LIVE at Indoor stadium. :D N i was very impressed with all the Taiwanese singers! Perfect atmosphere and brilliant, bright voice! It was like attending concerts of so many artistes and with the price of 1 ticket. WORTH IT. Ohoh, Aunty Lucy was SOOO HILARIOUS!! :D

5. 7 Nov- Before church, lunch with God ma and San yi

7. 8 Nov- Teaching piano from 10am - 630pm.

I am backkk :)

Recently there're so many things that happened. Typhoons and earthquake... Heart aching to see so many people lose their homes and families broke apart. God bless them...

Last Fri, went out with Mare and Rick and LF.. After my organ lesson, took bus down to orchard to meet them..

We went to Heeren Jacks Place for their lunch set, quite reasonable.. Had lobster bisque and teriyaki chicken. Mare had Cream of Onion and Teriyaki chicken too..
The guys had Beef and soup too..

Oh, the dessert was ice cream, and we had tea / coffee before that! Hot and Cold and Hot again... Wa, dunno will tummyache or not.. haha.. Thank God we were ok.. haha.

After eating, we went shopping around Paragon and Taka.. Didnt buy anything, managed to stop myself from shopping! :)
Around 4 pm, we went to Island creamery for ice cream! (As i have class at night.. :( )

Had nutella ice cream and strawberry sorbet ice cream. YUMMY!!!
LF had Bandung and cookies and cream ice cream.. Not bad, but i dont like Bandung..

Rick and Mare had waffle with Very Berry ice cream and Blackforest ice cream. Delicious!

Everyone had a good time eating ice creams :)

Random post :)

My life is just monotonous, every week there're classes, about 3 classes per week.
Other than classes, i would stay at home and do nothing, haha!

Watched TV and go online, and i am now watching Tang Xin Feng Bao 2, it's quite nice.. Almost everyday will be online to watch! Hehe..

Oh ya, last fri, went out to Bugis after my organ class, and saw OFFER!! Any 2 piece of apparel on the rack for only $30, free size plus there're new pieces too...

My temptation that lead me to these 2 pieces of apparel...

Oh ya, last sunday after work, i went to buy leggings that i happened to find in AMK hub! :D

Exams are arriving soon, end of oct till start of Nov. Thank God that it didnt clash with my 21st birthday! Hehehe..
Started preparing and planning for my birthday party already, bought some materials for invitation cards and ... *secret!*

Invitation cards will either send out by post or if i see u, will give it to you personally..

There'll be a party theme, so if u are invited, please do come dressed according to the theme!!
Now sourcing for the right cake! :D feeling sooo excited! Location has been booked since the start of the year, kiasu abit.. it's in a chalet..

Maybe some of u might be thinking that why so early plan? But if i dont plan now, then after my exams, it's already start of Nov! So better start to plan when i can, and after exams will not be so kan chiong! :p

FINALLY MY PROJECTS ARE ALL FINISH!! :D

I can take a breather, for now. Next tuesday there's another econs test, and i have only studied like half up to date. NEED TO BUCK UP!

Anyway, after my last project date submission on 14 Sept, and i dont need to go to school on 17 Sept, LF n i went for a movie and shopped around in MS! We caught the movie - The Proposal, and it's very funny! Light and entertaining movie, we both enjoyed it. Shopped around and i bought lots of stuff!
Have been splurging, must control!!! :(

My buys for the day:
Sandals on 50% off! $19.95.

Masks and Mascara comb - $14

Bag (cos 1 of my bags is quite old and the strap is coming out) - $33 but Alvin paid for this! hehe.

After shopping, was quite hungry already. Went to Kenny Rogers for dinner. I paid for this meal.. $20.

Not too ex.. 2 side dishes and 1 roasted chicken pita.

Total spending for that day - $54! Really need to save up!!

Oh oh! Mare, Alvin and i celebrated Rick's birthday on 10 Sept, we could only meet him in the morning n afternoon, cos at night both of us have to rush for projects and tests..
Checked online and found Jade Palace restaurant. Received rave reviews and thus, decide to try.
Food was not bad, service was good! Spent about $43 per pax, but we also paid for Rick's share. We went shopping around ION, and i bought Royce Chocolates, cos mummy was craving for it! Spent $15!!

Walked around Wisma, and i saw a big SALE signboard in Espirit! Itchy hands and mouth and legs quickly went there and saw some really nice blouses and pants!
Went to try and was very tempted to buy the blouse and pants. and i did. ARGHHH, GAVE INTO TEMPTATION. Total damage done in Espirit - $70
Blouse - $30. Pants - $40.

That's why i say i need to save up NOW!!!

After Espirit, we were tired and rested in Starbucks. Chatted and went home at around 5pm..

Anyway, enjoy the pics!

Damage done on that particular day : $128!! Boy, if mummy were to know this, she will surely nag me until....

Alright, gotta log out now, as it's getting late. Tmr have to reach earlier for church choir practise and THANK GOD SUNDAY I WILL NOT HAVE TO WORK! HOLIDAY:D

First up, sorry for the long awaited post! Was busy with my projects and all.. plus finished watching a Korean Drama - Boys over flowers! *GUSH... So handsome!!! Hahaha.. LF bought the OST for me, i love it. Thanks! Haha, actually, it's me who wanted it, and he bought it.. but still, :D As most of you all may see that i am quite active in Facebook, so recent events pictures are all up in there.

Company dinner at Honjin Japanese restaurant, just below our building. After that, went to St James to have a drink. Havent been there before, so decided to take a look and see how's it like. Felix is working there, thus we got in free!:)

Dont really like it, as the music was loud and i dont like to drink alcohol. Haha, people must be thinking, so weird!What to do? I am unique :X

Met up with his parents near the lobby and went in together. The ceremony, as expected, took about 1.5 hours because the Chancellor and other VIP were giving speeches, felt v sleepy but i cant sleep, because i was sitting right beside him mum! Not v nice right? haha.

Our 999 days anniversary & Short trip to M'sia

Hiya! I am back with more pics!

On 12 Aug, i went to watch UP with LF at AMK Hub - to have dinner and collect my cheque too, it was a very nice movie! Heartwarming and hilarious! 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. It's about 1.5hr, and you will never regret watching it! I'll strongly recommend those who have not watched it!

It's about this old man and his dreams, and how he managed to fulfill his long awaited dream with the strangest way - A floating house! and also, there's this little boy scout who loves adventure and was obsessed with getting the last badge - helping a senior citizen to be a senior explorer! :)

*i am willing to catch it again!!!!* :D

As promised, this post will be full of pics from our 999 days anniversary and my short trip to M'sia - Pengeran.

For our 999 days anniversary, We went to Cineleisure for a simple dinner and followed by a movie - Hangover.

M'sia trip !

Our family planned a 2 days 1 night stay at Pengeran.. on 8/8 - 9/8..

LF and Gillian came too, and also, corinne asked her friends to join us for a cheap feast!

Woke up at about 7am in the morning and all of us prepared our stuff, grabbing last min things.

Initially, the plan was to take the bus down to Changi, but Kor kor wanted to take a taxi instead, so we cabbed down to Changi Village.

Had our breakfast there, and then we went to the point where we were supposed to take a bum boat ride to Pengeran.

Waited for the boats and all to be settled, and we waited for about 2 hours plus! Finally, our wait was not for nothing, we got a AIR CON bum boat!!! Not noisy too!!

Us enjoying the smooth ride to Pengeran. It takes about 30 mins..

After we reached, we took a cab - RM20 to the place where my dad wants us to go. Shared a cab with kor and gillian, plus alvin. Each of us paid RM5. *CHEAP RIGHT!*

Taxi ride to the destination is around 20 mins.. When we alighted the point, we waited for mummy and daddy to reach too, and corinne's friends.

Went around each hotel and all of them were fully booked!!! Thank God there's this small hotel, still has 3 rooms available. The room was small but clean. Basic stuff like a king size bed, a wardrobe, a dressing table and a toilet. Shared a room with my parents and alvin, poor alvin has to sleep on the floor. HAHA.

Wales, uncle henry and auntie helen arrived shortly after we located the hotel.

After settling down, we went to have LUNCH! It was a spread!! We ate noodles, seafood like LOBSTERS!!

YUMMY!

After lunch, we were walking around the place. It's just a small street near the beach, with no shopping centres around! Only Shop houses and kopitiam were there.. So basically, it's just to slack there with no technology around.. Except the TV...

Watched TV the whole day while mum and dad went to wash their hair.. Wales, alvin and me was in the room, sleeping, watching TV, and disturbing wales! HAHA, he's so lovable!

At abour 6pm, we went to have DINNER! :D

I was already very tired by 10pm, so went up to the hotel and had a early rest.

Next day, mummy woke us up at 8am!!! To have bak kut teh breakfast.

Daddy bought this nasi lemak for 70 sens (Malaysia Ringgit!)

I finished the soup! Alvin shared it with me.

We went for prata too. HAHAHA.

There's this fruit stall over there, and mummy bought longans (finished already!), mango and other fruits. It's really sweet! *and cheap. HAHA.

Mummy went there to buy my birthday party stuff like paper plates, cups, and others! It's very cheap over there.. So might as well buy all from there.

Checked out and took cab back to the jetty.

The journey back home is much longer as it is a old bum boat, so the speed is not as fast as the air con boat!

Had our lunch at Changi village and bused back home.

Bought Heong Peng and tapioca chips for colleagues and they like the chips! But not many of them ate the Heong Peng..

Month of Aug events part 1

Looking forward to this weekend, cos IT'S A PUBLIC HOLIDAY ON MONDAY!!! yeahh..

No work on Sunday too! This gives me ample time for me to study for my econs test on Tues..

I will be going for a short short trip to M'sia with my family, from Sat - Sun. A 2 days 1 night trip. Then from Sun - Monday, i will be mugging for my econs test.. Hope to score because the chapters are quite basic..

Anyway, i am here today to blog about Xin hui's birthday bash at Costa Sands chalet.

Reached there after church at about 6+pm.. and managed to locate her unit - k3&k4. Xy + WT and mare was there already. Corinne came along with us too. Haha, previously, mare's bro went to XY's birthday. now, it's my sis who joined us.

We were greeted by the balloons and xh's bf - Alvin (ya, the same name) was there, BBQ-ing the food. Some pics for you all to see..

Oooh, ytd was LF and my 999 days anniversary.. Haha :) Just went to cine to have a simple meal at Shokudu, and caught a movie - The Hangover. Stupid / lame / ridiculous movie la! Haha, but it's funny.. Catch it if you feel really bored.. Oh, it's NC 16, but apparently, it contains nudity and the scolding of the 'F' word appears quite a bit. Maybe it would be better if it was M18.

It's truly a very eventful month for both me and her!

Updates for the month of July:

On 26 July, LF and I attended his army buddy's wedding @ Conrad Hotel. Very impressive i must say, for a mountain tortoise like me, i feel like i was being served like a VIP!

Once we sat around our designated table, the waiter will come and place the napkins on our laps, and asked what beverage we want. After the couple marched in, there were videos from the very morning, where the brothers and groom went to fetch the bride. They were being tortured quite leniently i must say.. Haha! :D

There were videos of their family members, giving their well wishes to the newly wed couple. Jackson, the groom even video-ed a heartfelt speech for his bride! So touching... :)

Soon after, they began to serve the first dish - cold dish. There're 9 dishes in total. The banquet waitress even came up to us and told us what we will be having, and whether is it ok to serve now or not. Then, they put it on individual plates and serve to us! We dont need to really 'snatch' food on the shared big plate placed in the middle (as what other hotels will do).

2nd dish up will be the Shark's fin soup. It's VERY FILLING! We were given not just 1 small bowl, but a big pot! Hmm, how to describe, like chinese herbal soup when you drink it from a white pot? (1 zhong)

It's big and filling and yummy! After polishing off the shark's fin, i was already 3/4 full!! Haha.. And the next dish, if i am not wrong, is vegetable..

Other dishes includes : Baby Abalone, Ostrich meat (TASTES LIKE CHICKEN! oh ya, both are birds...) Fish, and others.. Cant really remember.. Just remembered that i ate too v full...

Hello peeps! Hehe...

Here to blog again! :D

Feeling quite tired at the moment, guess most of you all know, i have started my part time degree course at SIM - RMIT. Taking Bachelor of Business Management majoring in HRM. 3 times per week, 7pm - 10pm. Thank God that i am in the same class as Darren + Simin, if not i will be so lonely........... haha. Project team mates will also be them! YAY! That's a very comforting issue that i felt.

& By the time i reach home, it's about 1115pm already.

Bathed and wash up, pack my stuff for the next day, it's 12am. Then, the next morning, i will have to wake up at 730am.. 7hrs 30mins of sleep! It might be enough for all of you, but for me... i need at least like 8 hrs! So i always end up falling asleep on the bus. Haha..

Some major events in my life:

We went to have lunch at a Jap and Taiwan fusion restaurant. Not too bad..

& On that day, it was her BIRTHDAY TOO!!

I have so many activities on that DAY!!

I slept till 11am on Sat because i really dont have time to recharge myself since i am studying & working & working! This rare time for me to sleep till so late is really precious! Mummy didnt wake me up too, cos she understand. Thank God.

Left my house at 1215pm to have lunch with mummy, and i went to church.

It was Thess Speaks and I was the speaker!!!

Spent about 3 days doing up on the topic - Prayers.

Oooh.. i slept at 2am on Fri to finish up on my sermon. Thank God it went quite well.

LF and I rushed down to Kaki Bukit to wish Mei mei happy birthday and pass her present that I bought for her!

Melaka Trip - TJM retreat

Seems that i have been updating quite promptly now.. Hehe.. Cos i have a lot to update!!!

I treat this blog as my public journal / dairy, thus, if there's any major events, i would want to remember it, dont want my memories to contain only recent events.

Well, this post is entirely on my Melaka Trip (14 June - 16 June) with TJM! :) Had heaps and lots of fun and cant wait for next year's trip (if there's one...) Although the group is small, but we still had fun nonetheless! :D

Woke up early in the morning at about 630am, wash up and cab down to Newton Circus where we were supposed to meet. I was the first one who reach, and shortly after, Serena's family also arrived. All of the others reached on the dot at 730am, and we set off to Meleka! :)

Day 1

He uses this (below) for his toiletries!! HAHAHA!

Bought this Apple crisp at Muji to try it out.. Quite nice, but quite oily too.. It's expensive! $3+ for this small packet (The size is like those Lay's small packs).

Entered M'sia via Tuas checkpoint, there was a jam! While we are passing across the bridge, everyone was so excited on how Mas Selamat managed to swim to M'sia with THAT distance. HAHA.

We went to the Mushroom farm as our first destination.

This is their Nasi Lemak.. It's nice! And they use Kampong Chicken and the mushroom is organic! They grow their own mushroom :)

Oh btw, the mushroom i am talking about is on my spoon, half bitten. HEHE..

Got on the bus again and LF was talking to the rest of us.. Telling us what is the plan for later.

After like 1 hr+ of bus ride, we reached Puteri Resort! :D

Had to unload all our stuff and wait at the lobby, while waiting for our rooms to be sorted out.

Initially, Joanna, Serena and me was given a room that is quite near to the others, but poor Alvin + his father, Lois + family was way off our range.. Our room was facing the ENTRANCE. -_-" & when we entered, there is this sour smell, like someone left their food untouched for like 2 days?

Opened the windows and let fresh air come in, to get rid of that smelly smell.

But then, because one of the elders got a room that was also SO OUT OF THE WAY, we had to shift in order to let the others stay close together, so as to take care of each other..

So we changed to another room, and this time, the room was better, no more smelly smell. Hehe.

Unpacked and rested for a while, then it's dinner time!

After dinner, the rest went back to their rooms to rest. While the organising committee went to check out the function room for tmr morning's sermon.

Joanna, Serena and Alvin went off first to do the treasure hunting game.. & left me, Lois and Uncle Rendo in the room..

Not too bad.. haha..

Was helping Auntie Lois with her stuff, cos she was to deliver her sermon the next morning. She wrote it on transparencies and the ink kind of fade off. Helped her write and overlap her faded words, if not tmr the words wont reflect well on the OHP.

Uncle Rendo and Auntie Lois then worked on something else. They were writing on mahjong papers the important notes and verses. Wrote till quite late...

& it was time to go back to our rooms, we saw the treasure hunting group discussing away. Went up alone to our room, bathed and watched TV while waiting for them..

They came up quite fast, and we girls were having some small talks, like Korean TV drama, and also discussing about the actors. HAHA!

Serena and I will be song leading the next morning before the sermon, so we discussed which song to sing.. after that, we all slept very soundly......... Haha.. TOO TIRED!

Day 2

Woke up early in the morning, like 730am? Washed up and prepare for the day!

We had morning exercise near the pool.. & went for a morning walk!

Went for breakfast, then proceeded to our function room - for our spiritual food!

The function room name is - Laksa Manna. So cute.

After sermon, it's games time!!! :D

I was in the Glow Worm team! :D Played lots of games, about 3? All thanks to the Twins and their sis, and Ah por! The puzzle was fun!

We also played squirrel & tree game, obstacle course (blindfold and have to trust the person guiding them only using their mouth.) and also the passing of marbles using a spoon game.

& it's LUNCH TIME AGAINNN!!

MORNING STAR * - out of so many glass, i was using this. Fate / Destiny?

After lunch, we rested and had fun again! This time, it was the treasure hunt! :D

Well planned i can say, although they only have like, 1 night to prepare? :)

We need to find out 10 clues and have to run round the resort!

The weather was scorching hot but it was fun! But in the end, FireFly won.. not us.. we are just late by 1 min or so.. haha.

After the treasure hunt, we went back to our rooms and changed into our swimming suit! :) Went swimming and relaxing at a corner. hehe. The pool was lukewarm and there was this slide at the children's pool. Almost everyone went there and had a go on it, it was fun!

Even the adults did too! Hahah..

Dinner after washing up, and the dinner was not bad, as compared to the lunch and breakfast we had. Light games after dinner, and it's back to the room..

Nicholas, Vicki and Alex came over to our room to play Uno.. and I kept 'UNO'-ing but never GAME!! I think i shouted like more than 5 times 'Uno!' ...

Was too tired.. after i gamed, i slept almost immediately!! Haha.

Day 3

Morning skipped breakfast, and packed my stuff to prepare to check out.

Had lunch and took some pics, off we go for some 3 hours shopping at Mega Mall - Melaka.

Spent about RM400 and mostly it's on clothes! haha, all of my $$ were spent on FOS, where you buy apparels worth of RM150, you get RM50 off straight!

& it's back to Singapore - Newton Circus.

Mummy and Daddy were there, waiting for me and having their dinner there.

3 days passed by SOOOO FAST and it's back to work again.. SIAN.

Hello all! (Anyone there?????????)

No tags at all!! DO tag so that i know i still have readers? HAHA.

I spent yet another $40 bucks on a Sashimi buffet, at Mirama Hotel, 8 June 09. If you are a sashimi lover, you will love this! The main attraction is Sashimi, other al la carte items are so so only. Went with my colleagues straight after work. Wayne and Felix came to join us too. Sing Yee/Doreen/Ivy/Sylvia couldnt make it! :(

Reached there and went in straight. Oh, Darren made a booking, cos we can only patronise there with a reservation.

Happy Birthday LF! :)

So fast, 1 year has just passed by. A blink of eye, and LF is 26!! Haha, old already... Lao nan ren..

Hmm, we went to celebrate it on Sunday, and coincidentally, I had GIL lesson on that Sun, so i reach there at 2pm and end work at 330pm! :)

Woke up in the morning at about 11 plus, and went to AMK the foodcourt there to have breakfast with my family.

When it is reaching 140pm, we started to move off as i need to prepare the slides and load the videos for my 'kids' to see. While i was teaching, dear dear was waiting for me :)

Then, finally, at 330pm, i knocked off from work and we were clueless as to where to go since it is only 330pm. LF mentioned that he wanted to work on Genesis' test papers so we went to Macdonalds. Bought Vanilla milkshake and sat down there.

After setting up the laptop and all, LF suddenly say dont want to do anymore, since he need more time to do it. Pack up and sat there.

Went to withdraw some $$ and took the train to orchard. Walked around Taka, Wisma Atria.. and settled down at MOS burger for a drink, as i was getting giddy and was experiencing a heavy head.. Then, LF bought a HUGE milk tea and began to drink..

Walked to Wheelock place, and went on to find the restaurant that i intend to bring him go. The restaurant have good reviews online, thus, want to give it a try.. It's a Japanese restaurant and i know he will like it..

Went in and settled ourselves in a nice corner.. Very comfortable and service quite good.. Except that it is pricey... Ordered a lot of stuff... Look below for more info!

Ordered the Hokkaido Ramen.. I prefer the one near my office.. This is not very nice..

Of course, ate some and push the rest to him! HAHAHA.

Sat a little while, and remembered that the critics and review all agreed that the dessert is MOST RECOMMENDABLE.

It is really like tofu!! Nice! Soft and not too sweet.. He only like the crust! Dont know how to appreciate!!!

& I know he love them, so bought a pair of tickets, thinking to go watch it with him..

Frustration

I am feeling super frustrated now. Super bad mood and super down! Feel like crying but I can’t.I just don’t understand. We put in the hard work, and it’s the results you all just see! Whether we bring in $ and sales to you or not.

It’s such a cruel world, & that’s reality.

I admit that I am not a SUPER WORKER, nv surfing the net BEFORE during my entire stay here. But I can say that I work, and I don’t mean that I take work lightly.

I will work OT if there’s a need. Like drafting all the directions to the candidate and all..Ya, people just take you as USELESS if you produce no results. But results are not FROM OUR HARD WORK!

It depends on both EXTERNAL PARTIES! & you all just ook at the results, and TREES.

Yes, I contributed trees for you all, and you all say that big or small deals never mind, we close deals, that’s good.

YA, I DID IT!! But what did I get? TRAIINING AND TRAINIINGS AGAIN! & WHAT’S WORSE, 2 times the same training with EXACTLY THE SAME CONTENT! This time, I am sure it’s the same content and words and even pictures too!

Retrench and retrench. Good for you. But did you all consider our feelings? It affects the whole company as a whole! The spirit Is down and the whole morale is low! Think of it will you??!

Just feeling super frustrated. I’ll be fine after awhile. Just want to vent it out since I cant do it NOW.

I pray that God would bless me with the strength , guidance and courage to face the future challenges. Hallelujah! Only You can help me now.

I pray for your guidance and wisdom to tell me what to do everyday. Thank God!

Went out for dinner for mother's day, had zi cha at Hougang there.. Just a simple dinner with my dearest popo, aunt Helen, Aunt Alice, Uncle Jeff and my family + Alvin last Sun.

Last sat, i went over to Alvin's popo's house for Mother's day dinner too.. Haha, had a spread! :)

Hello!

First of all, thank you all for your concerns, i am alright already! :) Now a normal person who can walk and talk :) But cant really bend too much and carry heavy things for too long, so yeap.. have to take note of my back (left hip). Cos if i bend too much, there'll be some discomfort, abit sore, but not extreme pain.. haha.

I carry my medicines and pain killer around, just in case i sprained my back muscle again. haha.. I feel like an old woman.. haha..

Have to go back for appointment to see my curved spine / back bone.. But the doc said not to worry, my back bone was curved since i was born.. that's why just going back to the hospital to check whether will it cause any discomfort or not..

Hmm, today's tricia's 3rd birthday! Happy birthday! :)

Hello! It's been quite a long time since i blogged.. about 2 months back?? haha..

Actually, just came here to clear the spider webs, after this, i will concentrate finishing my sermon! Oh, i will be delivering my first sermon during YF speaks!! Gosh.. nervous..

Ok, here to blog about my first visit to SGH's A&E..
It all started on Tues, 7 April, 6pm. Right after my work, i was supposed to rush off back home to finish all my stuff like practising my organ and to finish my sermon. Alvin was waiting for me at the lobby, and i rushed down to meet him.

While walking to the MRT station, suddenly i feel that my left hip area was abit sore. I didnt really care about it cos it was not that bad. I still joked and talked to him while walking. But as i progressed, i find that my hip was getting more sore, and i had to walk slower, and bending slightly forward to walk.

Stopped and sat while waiting for the MRT to arrived, was feeling abit better when i rested and sat, and when the train arrived, i just went in with my sore hip.

After alighting at Outram park station, i bear with the pain, all the way to the platform when i really could not take it, and sat at the seat there. I was feeling giddy and dizzy all over, i guessed it was the pain that made me feel like that. I sat at different positions, and tried to lean forward, bend backwards but none worked.

I still had my antibiotics from my urine infection, and Alvin suggested me to take it and see whether my pain would subside. I had no water with me, so he went outside and bought a bottle.

Took the med and monitored, but still, it was not any better. He saw that i was in such great pain and suggested to me to take me to SGH A& E. I dont really like the idea of going to the hospital, but due to the pain that's superbly too much for me to bear, i gave it. Walked slowly with immense pain and bear it with while going through like 5 escalators?! Sat nearby the taxi stand while he flagged a taxi and drove us to the A&E.

Reached A&E, and the cab fare was like $7.60?? SO EX! cos of the extra charges and the ERP charges..
Well, then we went in to register,and the nurse asked whether i can walk or not, i said no, so i was being placed on the wheelchair, and Alvin wheeled me in. I went in near the consultation area, where many people stared at me. I looked weird? i dont think soo..

Alvin did the registration at the other counter, and paid $90 upfront! Waited, and was being called to the nurses' area, and they had basic understanding of my condition.

I had to wait again, for a long time.... Before i was wheeled in to see the doctor. The doctor was very young, he started to ask alot of questions. In the end, he asked me to go for an X ray, urine test.. During the X ray, i need to change into a robe, which is quite weird.. The radiologist wheeled me in, and asked me lie down on this table, and adjusted the machine. I had to lie face up and by my left side, which was hurting so much.
After the x ray, had to wait for the result, and went for the urine test. Peed into the cup, and my pain was increased again, cos i think i strained my muscle while in the toilet.

Waited for the doctor again!! And this time, he analysed my X ray, coincidently, he saw that my back bone was curved, and needed me to come back to follow up. Also, i was still in pain, and he said to give me a jab to make me feel better. I was quite terrified, and he got a female nurse to give me an injection on the BUTT. MY FIRST JAB ON THE BUTT!
Then, i still had to wait for another 45 mins to make sure that the medicine works, and that i will not feel that pain anymore. Was given 4 days MC, had to rest at home till next monday..

Went to collect my medicine, and cabbed back home. Reached home at about 1030pm.. The whole process took about 3 hours?? Soo long lahh..

Reached home and ate my medicine, dont have any appetite to eat. Just ate some noodles, and rested. Washed up and prepare to sleep. When i lie down on my bed, i couldnt take it anymore and went to the toilet to puke. Like a merlion!! Yucks... Feeling better after all came out and went to sleep.
Next day, was feeling better. But dont really dare to carry any heavy stuff of bend down..

Feeling better now, so had to wait for the next appointment, to see my backbone. haiz. After urine infection, now this! What's happening to me!

Ok ok, now feeling better, and thank God nothing serious happen, and no need to be admitted to the hospital. Phew.

Going to do my sermon now.. Take good care of your health peeps!!! :)

Valentine's Day

Yeap, as the title suggested, the topic of this post will be on Valentine's day! :)

Well, i celebrated mine on 10 Feb 09 (Tues) so that it will not be crowded and also it's our 27th month anniversary. haha! Celebrate it together..

Well, it started off as a normal tuesday, just going to work in the morning, taking the usual bus and having a usual lunch.

But after my lunch at Uncle Sam, and when i stepped in office, i saw an object that is suspicious.

A bouquet of pink roses! Ya, it's the first time that i received flowers in office la!! No one send them to me before, a bit sua ku when i received it. Cos everytime LF give me flowers is he would hide it in his house and i would have to find it. haha!

I pretended that i have not received anything, so that LF would be anxious.. I didnt sms him once i receive it.. I knew he would ask! haha.. and true enough, he smsed and ask! :p

So after work, he waited for me downstairs at my workplace lobby. I didnt know where we were heading to, he said he wanted to give me a surprise.

So we went to bus stop and took bus 75. I am not too sure of this area, so i just guessed maybe we are going to Dempsey Hill and... I was right! haha :)

We went to this Red Dot restaurant that's filled with many Ang Mos. haha! LF has reserved a seat for us, but apparently, it doesnt need any reservation as it was still early.

Settled down beside this ang mo family and their baby is sooooo cute!! Didnt manage to capture it .. :)

We ordered onion rings, grilled salmon steak (YUMMY!!), fish and chips and dessert(HEAVENLY).

It's not the normal pudding that you can find in those supermarkets, its SUPERBLY SOFT and when you scoop it up, it's like it'll melt it straight away! AWESOME!

My family went to Changi Bungalow chalet as per normal for CNY celebrations plus reunion dinner.. Had to work on Saturday morning, so i reached the chalet at about 530pm after church service with my cousins, popo and uncle Jeff..

Woke up at about 8am to prepare to go Alvin's family side to bai nian. Went to his house first to pick up his family and we went to Clementi first.

We borrowed Uncle Jeff's car, so able to fit in the whole family + me :)

Next, travelled all the way to Depot road, Alvin's ah ma's place (Alexandra rd) and lastly, his popo's house. Stayed there for lunch and we played some card games with all his cousins. Had a fun time over there.. hahaha..

It's been such a long time since i last posted my last entry..

so do expect more to come! hahaha..

Everything's fine, except for some changes in work.. It's really sad to see your colleagues leave one by one.. :( But then, God will make a way for me.. so, i'll try to be positive :)

Juggling 2 jobs is really tiring.. sometimes lack of sleep and rest! But because there's extra income, so i think it's ok and worth it..

CNY is arriving, have you all bought your new clothes yet?? Haha, i have been shopping around for new nice clothes and i managed to buy 2 dresses.. 1 dress from Little Match Girl and another one at Central there.. 1 brown and 1 cherry red dress.. I love both of them!!

I also went around to source for a red dress cos the whole chung family is going take studio shoots this sat 10 Jan 09! Cos it's popo's 80th birthday this month, so we decided to make it big, to take a 3 generations studio shoot to commemorate it.. Then after that, we have to rush down to the hotel for dinner, where we booked 4 tables for dinner, for our relatives..

Yeap, bought the red dress from ClubMarc, and it's really pretty! It's a sleeveless red dress, and it's spandex material.. But the sleeve hole is too big! So i am bringing it to xueyi's mum there to alter, hope can alter it smaller.. hehe.. if not, then have to use safety pins...

Some updates:

On tues, i met up with Bestie cum Sis.. haha. (: We had wanted to go shopping for the LONGEST time to buy some new clothes as we were both bored with the clothes that we have right now.. hahahaha~

Met her at Bugis, and had a hard time deciding what to eat for dinner.. walked up and down bugis and finally, when we passed by Hip Diner, the waiter was there to give out leaflets.. and they are having a promotion. BUY 1 GET 1 free!! Only this particular dish - Honey chicken.. And so, we went in and had our dinner. The waiter there was super friendly.. overly friendly i would say.. amused both me and sis..

She's trying hard not to be captured, but failed. HAHA!

Finished our dinner and went to the ladies to prepare for our shopping spree! Walked the whole bugis street, and was SUPER tired.. Tried some clothes / dresses..

One of the tops / dresses i tried on.. didnt take pics for the rest cos i was too lazy and tired! haha..

Finally bought a top that's similar to wat she bought too.. and the same belt, but different colour.. Total spending: $8 - Belt and $10 - top. It's a steal! The top can be easily sold at those shopping centres for about$30 ?

Feeling very satisfied with what we bought, we took bus 80 and changed Bus 119 along the way (:

Back track alittle, on 4 Oct, LF and I went to Amei's concert! Although we bought it at about $120+++, the seats were quite far back.. sad): but nonetheless, we both enjoyed thoroughly and it was more like a PARTY, and not a concert cos by the end of the concert, everyone were like standing up and dancing, and enjoying themselves as A mei sang her last encore song " 3 Tian 3 ye" SUPERB performance and i would want to watch her concert again, if she were to come to Singapore for a concert. And i would buy the most expensive ticket cos i find that it's very worthwhile..

Yeap, sorry for the lack of posts, I am busy searching for jobs and busy learning how to become a lazy bum at home.. (:

Alright, here are the pics I took when my sis, mum and I went to Melaka at 21st Mar to 23rd Mar with my God ma + Family + friends.

And so, we travelled by car and endured a journey of about 5 hours because of the jam at the checkpoint where police were checking whether we were hiding the JI detainee Mas Selamat. During the car ride, it was.... noisy. My 2 younger cousins were being cracky and snatching over PSP.. Duh, boys...

Finally, we reached our hotel! :D

Holiday Inn Melaka which was just built not long ago.. Think it's just 6 months old, from what my God pa told me...

We stayed at level 4, and it's just above the swimming pool! The view is just so cool!

After resting and settling down in our hotel, we walked over to the opposite side to have some Jap food..

After our late lunch, we all went to shop and had dinner at a food court.. I think the food court's design is quite nice, feels very warm and the food there is CHEEAAAPPP & NIICCEEE!

Mei mei woke up and was feeling very happy...

Well, not THAT happy when we were at Macdonald's, taking away my cam from her.. HAHA!

We went around Makota Shopping Centre and I bought lots of stuffs! Like, a pair of cute slippers, 1 blouse, 1 shorts, 1 pair of sunglasses... Happy!

Night time: Went out of the area to a chinese restuarant to have dinner with God ma + Family.. We had a feast! Yuummmyyyy!

Mei mei especially, every morning without fail, she would come to our room and peep at us, see whether are we awake or not.. and if we are awake, she would then chirped: "Good morning!"

Day 3: Going bacl to Singapore!

Last post dated 17 dec 2007.

haha.. more than a month since my last post... SUPER BUSY cos of projs and MORE projs..
i should be doing my project now. but then.. i felt like blogging, so i am here!

Many things happened during this short span of time. Many things have changed for me. New adjustments, more adjusting to be made. Its sad, but then, cant do anythin about it.

soon, i'll be graduating from NYP. Hope everything stays as it is this year. (:

Hi hi hi hi hi!!

Haha, I know i've been MIA-ing for sucha long time.. so, here i am to update with a post to brighten everybody's mood!

It's only Wed, but then... TMR is public holiday! SO PEOPLE. CHEER UP! :D

MARILYN'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!
Hehe, I've got a lot of pics from many different occasions, but I chose to post up pics from the celebration cos Mare's my BEST BEST BEST friend for about.... 6 years already! Time passed soooo fast... still remember we were still in Sec 1... where we first met each other and became buddies and sisters! :)

Alright, On monday, 17 dec, We decided to meet up and exchange christmas pressie too!

Went to Marche and xin hui, xueyi were LATE. haha. Ate loads of nice stuffs... PICS! We ordered lots of stuffs... Like 3 bowls of soup, 3 plates of Rosti with sausages, Seafood rice, 3 Plates of CREPES, Soft shell crab, 3 bottles of Root Beer, and 1 plate of MANGO CHOCOLATE CREPE!!! yummmmmmmmyyy!! Had lots of fun while eating, cos we made fun of each other! hehehe, especially xueyiii~!!!

Hello! I'm in school now, and the lesson is just so boring.. so, i'm back to blog.. Basically, School has just reopened, and there's just loads of projects for me to complete):

Just this week, i've 3 projects to be handed up, and 2 to be handed up next week! ): And what's more, i'll be gg to M'sia this weekend, so i have to finish my project stuffs by this week..
Hmm.. I'm left with 1 group proj now, and next week, i'm required to hand in 2 individual projects, and Thank God, the projects needed to be handed up is not taxing!

Cant really think much now, cos i slept at 230am ytd, and today woke up at about 730am.. Can't sleep ytd, had been thinking alot..

I'm almost a zombie now, can't think straight..

1st Year ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ON 9 11 07!

We decided to go to SENTOSA!
We agreed to meet each other at Habourfront MRT station at about 930am... And I reached there at about 920am, called him, and he said he need another 20 mins to reach! haha.. nvm, then i waited for him near the mama shop(:
Finally waited for him to arrive, and OFF we go! Bought tickets for the monorail, and then, soon enough, we reached the train station! :) i looked sooo tired):

YEAHHH(: then, he went to withdraw money, and we walked to palawan beach! Settled down on a spot and he began taking out his towels and laying them down... Ate his ai xin sandwich! YUM YUM! :) I LOOOVVVEEE IT!

After the sumptous breakfast, we lay down and relaxed ourselves..

We went to Cafe Del Mar to relax again! and also to use their toilets! hehehhe...

trained back to vivocity and had Marche for lunch!!! :) yuuummmy!
we had CREPE, SAUSAGES, ROSTI, SALMON CHOWDER, CHOCOLATE MILK SHAKE, CHICKEN BREAST! hehee, such a feast! yumyum!

Went back to his house at about 630pm... He went to cook, and i helped him with many stuffs right? haha, in about 1 hours time, we did finish the whole meal and soon, we were enjoying our salmon plus omelete japanese curry rice! he decorated the table very romantically, i loveee it! The candles were nice, and the music was nice too... the sparkling juice was yummylicious! Enjoyed my dinner, so quiet, yet filled of love..

While washing the dishes, he delibrately wanted me to get ICE WATER from the bottom of the fridge. I was like huh?! haha, where got ppl put ice water at the bottom? but i didnt suspect anything, so i just opened, and TA DA! FLOWERS! nice peach and pink roses! I LOOOOVVEE IT! haha....

Thereafter, we began to give each other presents, and the poem he wrote was soo touching! Thank you! I gave him a video i made using my phone and also, i gave him a couple lab keychain! so, we have a pair here!

Hello! hahaha, i am back!

Hello! I'm going to blog about TODAY!! whee~!!

ITS D&D DAY! Theme: RETRO-spective. Muahahaha, I am quite excited about it... really looking forward to the event as the minutes and seconds passes by.. haha(:

Last minute change of dress, change to a more simple and normal one.. not the red dress anymore cos I'm only an intern, and i saw one of my colleagues wear something quite simple, so i just gave up the idea of wearing something quite wayang. haha.
Bought a 8 bucks 'leather' broad belt just now during lunch time, to go with my simple and nice retro dress that i've FINALLY decided on wearing.

I sound soooo bimbo right? Talking and yakking about what i'm going to wear, my accessories and stuffs. HAHA. but still, let me talk more about it! if you find that it's boring, you can just skip my blog, or go to my friend's blog and see if there's anything more interesting! :)

Ok, so, yesterday, i reached home at about 7+pm, bathed and do all that i needed to do.. then, i started to paint my nails red. REALLY RED. WOW. I normally wont wear such loud colour, but this time, i'm trying to spice it up and to match the theme-retro!
Hmm, think later i'm going home to change my colour. Should i? cos i last minute change my dress, should i paint my nails pink then? ponderrrr...
haha.. i think dont need la, red can go well with alot of colours, especially the RETRO era! :)
our company lets us go home at 4pm, to get ready and to reach there by 7pm! RUSHHH! but nvm,zhen yan (another nyp intern) will fetch me and rezal to the hotel, cos he drive. HAHA(: so I dont neeeed to rush all the way.. haha....

And oh, my hair!! I dont know what to do with my hair.. I dont think i'm going to the salon to 'set' my hair.. think i just blow my hair nicely, and put on a scarf.. simple right? i think it's ok la.. have to go home and see see, try try.. (:

SHOES~ I am sooo glad that i have quite alot of shoes, all different types and different colours! hehe... and so, i'm going to wear a pvc type of high heels.. can match! BLACK can match with a lot of colours... haha.

ok, i know i am rattling on and on like some chicken backside, but, i am really quite excited! ;)

Are u people/readers getting along fine in life? Well, I certainly am! haha.. Although these few weeks i had to work OT, and had to reach home at about 11pm, but then, I dont dislike my work at all! Praise God that He has given me such nice company, with nice people, managers, and the workload is not very stressful!

Hmm.. I've got 2 events to dress up! Firstly, it's my attachment company's D&D next wednesday! It's their first time organising it, and they included me and another intern Rezal in the planning committee, so we dont need to pay for it! :) hehehe...
The theme for the D&D is RETRO and in order to spice up the atmosphere in the main office and CP haven (another smaller office which i'm based in), Rezal and I had to come up with teasers!!
Hahaha, we came up with a countdown calendar (with Zhen yan's help) and also, to paste up posters of the oldies songs all around the office! :) Vickie (manager and organising member of D&D) also came up with a dedication service that the staff can dedicate songs from our posters, and it will be played throughout the 2 offices! haha, so exciting right? yeappp!

Not too sure of what to wear for the D&D, thus, yesterday night, reached home at 11pm after a networking session, went to try out some of the dresses I have! After so many rounds of trying, finally settled on a red dress! haha, accessories and shoes and clothes i have, but its my MAKEUP,HAIRDO AND HANDBAG that i dont really know what to do! People advice me!!

SIDETRACK: Thinking of highlighting my hair.. hehehe.. but then, i have to be very thrifty... no $$$! I think most of my pay/salary was splurged on FOOOD. and I DONT WANT! ): more food=more fat=increasing chance of gaining weight! *and oh, my colleague just offered me a BIG slice of TIRAMISU cake. ARGHHH!!* haha, i know they are nice, but then, haiz, CAKE LEH, HOW TEMPTING IS THAT?! and so, i ate a little bit. FATFATFAT!

And secondly, its my cousin's wedding next friday! She's getting married next friday!! It seems like time is passing by so fast, cos just last year, she told us that she will be getting married in 1 year's time, and poof! she's walking down the aisle next fri. WOW. Applied time off next fri, so i dont need to go to work the whole day. Haha, i still have quite a number of hours to take, so have to plan it carefully, to make full use of these hours(: Cousin's wedding must wear and dress up nicely right? But then, I still have not decided on what to wear, or whether need to go 'set' my hair or not.. Haiz.. I wanna be pretty for these special events, but i have absolutely NO IDEA on dressing up and no $$ to buy pretty short dresses suitable for such occasions!

Enough. Hmm, in another 2 weeks time, it's the end of my attachment.. Happy yet sad. CONTRADICTING. haha.
Happy= no need to wake up everyday at 630am, and travel 1hr10 mins on the bus.
Sad= no income(haha), and the people there are really nice.. 舍不得他们！

It's been long since I've updated my blog... Hmm, about 1 week already? Whenever I blogged, it must be an event or occasion that has left an impression on me... AND SO, I wanna say how ugly Singaporeans can be.......

Went back home yesterday, put my bag down on the table, and I was getting ready to go and bathe. Then, my mum told me: "Someone fainted on the bus TWICE today..." Immediately, I knew who my mum was referring to.. It's my sister!

Curious, I asked her to describe the process of fainting.. Anybody will ask her that... Ok, so, she was on bus 161, on her way to organ lesson, and the bus that she took was packed full of people.. Cos it was a weekday and many RP students would take that bus to woodlands. Thus, she had no place to sit and had to stand all the way..
Then, she felt very giddy and she knew that she was going to faint and quickly grabbed a pole that was nearest to her and shut her eyes. The next moment when she opened her eyes, she was already sitting on the floor, fainted, with 2 people asking her: “Are you alright?” She felt that many people was looking at her, and that maybe she fainted for quite a while.

Let me ask u all this, when u see someone on the bus, fainted, what would u all do? ESPECIALLY THOSE SEATED COMFORTABLY ON THE SEATS, LOOKING AT HER, AND DOING NOTHING TO HELP HER???
NO ONE ACTUALLY OFFERED HER A SEAT SO THAT SHE COULD REST! I was shocked when I heard that!

AND NOT ONLY THAT, MY SIS FAINTED TWICE. She stood up, still feeling very giddy, and grabbed tightly to the pole to keep herself standing, and once again, she fainted.
NO ONE, AGAIN, OFFERED HER A SEAT! I mean, were their butts that HEAVY? The people there simply don’t have any ‘liang xin!’ They simply just don’t care! SO INCONSIDERATE!
Mummy was super angry and upset when she heard that no one offered her a seat when she faint TWICE. Really, Singaporeans should really just go back to primary one and retake the ‘MORAL EDUCATION’ subject.

That made me recall one incident that also reveal how ugly SINGAPOREANS are. This happened about 2 and a half months back..
Once, I was chasing bus 163 to go back home after a visit/tour at the Apple company.. and maybe some of u won’t know.. I’ve always had this knee cap problems since secondary school days. Both of my knee caps have this problem of misplacement.. It will shift/ bend/ twist (I don’t know how to explain) if someone or some things knocked near my knee area, and if I’m unlucky or what, my knee caps will bend in and it will cause immerse pain to me, and it’s like, its so painful that I can faint…

Ok, continue, I was chasing the bus, and I don’t know why, when I want to get up the bus, my knee twisted and I cannot move my leg, and I’m already in pain. I stopped at the steps of the bus, and sat, and I was already half fainted, and I could not summon any strength out of me at that moment. And guess what, when I was in pain, the bus driver, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, just sat comfortably at his seat, and LOOK AT ME UNTIL I FINALLY CAN WALK UP AND SIT ON THE NEAREST SEATS. The whole bus was like waiting for me, cos I was blocking the entrance, and the bus driver could not close the door. I SAT THERE FOR QUITE A LONG TIME, AND THE WHOLE WHILE, HE WAS LOOKING AT ME. I mean, I WAS IN PAIN! HELLO! And the bus driver was there, doing NOTHING.

The people waiting at the bus stops were also like that, THEY JUST STARED AT ME, AND WHISPERED SO LOUDLY TO EACH OTHER, “I think she sprained her leg…” AND NO MORE. JUST STARE AT ME LIKE THAT.
Where is the caring spirit and considerate actions that we used to learn in school?! It’s scary, to see Singapore adults react like that to people that were feeling so uncomfortable.

After ranting so much, I felt much better. These 2 incidents made me see clearly how ugly this world can be. I am so disappointed and disgusted to live in such society.

I will not give up hope; I have God with me, beside me, to guide me through this ordeal. Life isn’t a bed of roses, now I know. Thank God. Hallelujah. (:

Sentosa PART 2!
After taking some pictures, we went over to the seaside to soak our feet and alvin just let himself into the water! Enjoying the water and the waves.. haha(:

After playing with the ball and the water for some time, we decided to rest and take a break... Called mare when she'll reach and then, xin hui, mi and alvin went to wash our feet that's feeling sooooo sandy.. haha(:

Walked past Cafe del Mar, and we wondered how the rates were like.. Being the curious us, Alvin n I went over to ask and for those single sized sun tan 'beds', you just need to buy a drink or purchase anything over there, and you can relax already. For the queen/king sized beds, we need to spend over $100 in order to use their bigger beds. SO EX LOR!

Discussed a while, and we decided to go for the single 'beds'....

Ordered a bottle of snapple and shared with Alvin, and the 2 da xiao jies ordered Coke each, and there we are, sun tanning or slacking on each single sized 'beds'.

And so, after many photos were snapped, and lazing around, joking with each other, Mare and Kenny finally came! haha, but I didnt take alot of pics with them, cos by the time they reach, we were all so exhausted that we wanted to go back to VIVO to enjoy the AIR CON! Aren't we pampered or what?!

After eating the hotdogs, we went our separate ways cos xin hui wants to develop photos, xueyi went with her, mare +kenny dunno go where and shop and mi and alvin wanted to shop at Vivo to get a gift for his granny, her birthday is nearing...

Sentosa!!!
Hello people, i'm here to post pictures up from Sentosa! On 30th sept, me, alvin, xin hui, xueyi, marilyn and kenny went to sentosa to relax and soak up the sun(:
But mare and kenny had some things on in the morning, so that's why we only managed to take A FEW PICS with them..

ok, let me start with... A FINE BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY MORNING(:
Alvin stayed over on saturday, and the next morning, I WOKE UP FIRST! haha, and went over to wake alvin up.. Was ready by 8am and then.... XIN HUI SAID SHE JUST LEFT THE HOUSE. As we didnt had any breakfast at home, we went over to RP to have our breakfast and also to buy breakfast for the 2 da xiao jie...

Finally on the bus... the journey was like.... 1hour 10mins... haha, like gg to work..

Reached Habourfront! Finally..... went up to purchase our tixs to go into sentosa and take the monorail...

Then, we reached the tram station, and walked to Siloso beach, which we believed that it won't be that crowded compared to Palawan beach...

So, we settled under a shade, cos MISS XUEYI dont want to get tanned... haha..
